Gift - Summarizer

This story is about a girl that lives in africa but she is white and it’s difficult for her to belong. Her parents work at her school and they are teachers there, at St Martin’s school. This girl feel like she can’t belong so good because se is white and the other pupils at the school are dark. There is one guy she likes most of all. She call him Gift. Gift ask her if she wants to spend some days in his house. She is so surprised and of course she wants so. When she sit in the bus she just hope that Gift is going to look at her at least. When the girl  are in Gift’s home she just wants Gift to come. She wish she hadn't came. Next day Gift is in the house. Gift says that he wants to show her someone. He take her to a house with a tin roof. In the hose there is an indian girl which name is ”Sunni”. And then Gift says that the girl is his future bride. The girl is so confused. She just had to realize the truth. Gift doesn't love her, he loves Sunni. 

Oönskad kapitel 6

De oönskade förväntas vara utan empati, kärlek, känslor och instinkt. Klarar de verkligen det? Ge exempel.

• Anna önskar att hon inte var en oönskad. Att hon kunde få se världen, men hon vet att hon är oönskad, och bara är en värdefull tillgång.
• Anna tror att hon själv kanske inte heller är bättre än Peter.
• Hon drömmer om hur det skulle vara att vara önskad.
• Ifall de hade tid över brukade de leka en lek.
• De tog ut sina aggressioner över de oönskade så att de önskade inte behövde vara med om de. 
• Sheila är övertygad om att hon är en önskad och att hon har föräldrar som älskar henne. 
• Anna skriver i en dagbok fast att man inte får skriva dagbok men hon gör det iallafall, men annars är hon väldigt noga med att följa regler.

Peter/Annas syn på sanningen

Anna tänkte att hon kunde använda Peter som ett "fönster" för att få svar från honom och kanske få veta sanningen. Peter pratade knappt om sina egna föräldrar utan mer om Annas föräldrar. Peter kanske vet mer än vad han säger. Mrs. Pincent har antagligen hjärntvättat de som finns på det institutet och det är kanske därför inte Anna minns något om hennes föräldrar. Peter vill få han och Anna därifrån, han vill alltså rymma. Peter vill hela tiden intala Anna att hon har föräldrar som gillar henne och att det var ett misstag att hon hamnade där.

The main characters name is Val. She is a girl on 12 years i guess. Val loves to collect seashells and she has an hole collection of them. I think Val is considerate and a nice person because she is so considerate in the text, against her mother and grandmother. Val  sure have a very good relation with her family, and most of all, with her grandmother. I also think Val is a good person who can’t say something that hurt anyone else.

År 2140

Alla barn som är på det "barnhemmet" är oönskade och har lämnats där av sina föräldrar som inte fick behålla de eller av de som inte ville eller hade råd att behålla de. De barn som fanns där var tvungna att arbeta och det var en väldigt tuff miljö de levde i där var det tillåtet att slå barnen. Man var också tvungen att odla egen mat till sig. Det är en väldig skillnad mot den värld vi lever i nu, tycker jag. Jag tycker också att det med vissa saker är lite som förr, som med att man fick slå barn, barnen var tvungna att arbeta till exempel.
